About Me
MEET ARDEN VEACH
As a child, I always noticed the little things. Slight changes around the house, an item left askew; they stood out to me as loudly as white on black. My attention to detail would serve me well in my future career. That characteristic, along with my strong ability to meet deadlines and articulately communicate with others through verbal or written means, are qualities that would also prove successful in this job.
Since running various social media accounts, such as Instagram, for multiple companies in Waco, Texas, I have gained the skills necessary to target, market to and engage with the needed demographic. Furthermore, as an assistant for Baylor University’s Marketing Department, I was responsible for immense detail to client records, including updating information on alumni, career advisors, and companies who publicize internships with our office. This position involves heavy calling during my shifts at the office. In addition to calling, I also email clientele. This calls for me to employ interpersonal skills to communicate with clients effectively. My experiences reaching out and conducting business on the phone and through email will make me keen to reach out to your customers and employees as well.
Lastly, I have vision, steady determination and tireless work ethic, coupled with a hunger to learn.

I keep myself pretty busy around Baylor University and Waco, here's where you can find me....

I am a member of the Business Apparel Professionals (BAPs). BAPs is a group determined to promote a professionalism among students studying fashion.

I am a member of the Theta Kappa chapter of Chi Omega. I have participated in All University Sing and Pigskin Revenue each year. Along with that, I have been a t-shirt chair for two years.

Outside of school, I am a member at University Baptist Church. I am active in a small group each week and now volunteer in the youth group.
While I can't pretend to say that I have my entire future planned out, I hear writing down goals helps them happen, so...

After traveling in Europe during a few different trips abroad, I can safely say I love to travel. I want to be able to learn more about the world around me in order to learn more about myself.

I plan on graduating Baylor in four years. I pride myself on being able to manage my time well, work hard and fight until the finish. My grades should reflect this attitude.

In addition to pursuing a degree in apparel merchandising, I am working to complete my marketing minor. I paired the two together because I ultimately want to open my own store. I have lists on lists on lists of different dreams for how my store will look. I can't wait for it happen one day! All I know for sure is that it will be reflective of me and my brand. I want to be able to look at my merchandise and be proud of what I'm selling.
